This Sunday, January 29, 2012, sees the celebrations to welcome in the Year of the Dragon take place in Chinatown and Shaftesbury Avenue. The festivities begin at noon with an official opening ceremony in Trafalgar Square, followed by a variety of performances featuring music, dance, Chinese dragons, lions, acrobatics and firecrackers.
The Sparkle & Spin family have headed down to the celebrations for the past few years and it is an event not to be missed. We throughly recommend ending the celebrations with a banquet fit for a King (and Queen) in Chinatown!!
